Matthew S. Decker

Matthew S. Decker is an associate in the Philadelphia office of McBreen & Kopko, where his practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Foreign Service, with a focus on international politics, from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in 2011. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the James E. Beasley School of Law at Temple University in 2014. While in law school, Matt held clerkships with the Hon. Thomas M. Blewitt of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and the Hon. Anne E. Lazarus of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania.

Matt has also worked extensively with Philadelphia’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts program, where he helped launch one the nation’s first pro bono patent programs in conjunction with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Matt maintains an active involvement in the Philadelphia arts community. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Mercy Center, a skilled nursing and personal care facility located in Dallas, Pennsylvania.
