
Margaret Giugliano
Margaret Giugliano, a Partner at McBreen and Kopko, has over 25 years of legal experience, including 15 years as in-house counsel at a major airline and subsequent experience at a specialized aviation law firm. Her early legal experience includes several years as an Assistant District Attorney in New York County.
Ms. Giugliano's areas of practice include the negotiation and drafting of a wide range of commercial transactions, including fueling and ground service agreements, airport operating agreements, airport lease agreements, and licensing and other marketing agreements. She also is experienced in prosecuting trademark applications and provides general business counseling in the areas of intellectual property, creditors’ rights, and regulatory compliance.
Ms. Giugliano earned her J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 1983. She is licensed to practice law in both the District of Columbia and the State of New York, including the Eastern and Southern Districts of Federal District Court. She has given presentations to internal corporate and governing groups, the American Bar Association, and trade industry organizations on matters of particular interest to aviation and airline industries, such as code-sharing, aviation security and safety, and proper trademark and copyright use.
